Terms and privacy policy

How this website (https://gdaclab.web.nitech.ac.jp) handles visitor information, and the terms under which its content may be used. It does not cover Nagoya Institute of Technology as a whole, nor the external services linked from these pages.
The pages under https://gdaclab.web.nitech.ac.jp/nakano/ share this domain but are the principal investigator’s own site, built and run separately with different software (WordPress). Nothing below applies to them.
Privacy
This is a static website. It has no accounts, no comment form and no contact form, and it collects nothing from you. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Every page serves its fonts, styles, scripts and images from this site itself, so simply reading one sends no request to any other company’s server.
The demos solve their physics in your own browser. No result, no interaction and no measurement of your device leaves it.
If you switch the site between light and dark appearance, that one choice is saved in your browser. It stays on your device and is removed when you clear your browser’s site data.
The site is served from a web server operated by Nagoya Institute of Technology, which — as is normal for any web server — may keep access records. Those are handled by the university under its own policies; please refer to Nagoya Institute of Technology for details.
Pages link out to services such as researchmap and publisher pages. These are ordinary links: nothing is sent to those services unless you choose to follow them.
Using the content
Text and images published here describing the laboratory, its research and its members may be quoted or cited for non-commercial academic and educational purposes with attribution to the GDAC Lab, Nagoya Institute of Technology. Please ask before reusing photographs of lab members, and before any commercial use.
Publication entries are bibliographic records compiled automatically from researchmap and from Crossref and arXiv metadata. The papers themselves remain under the copyright of their publishers and authors; follow the DOI or arXiv link on each entry for the authoritative version and its license terms.
Nothing here is an official statement of Nagoya Institute of Technology. For admissions, procedures and official dates, follow the university’s own announcements.
Software used
The site is built with Jekyll from Academic Pages, a fork of Minimal Mistakes (© 2016 Michael Rose, MIT License).
The Simulator and Attitude control with a keep-out direction pages use MuJoCo (© Google DeepMind, Apache License 2.0), three.js (MIT License), the Chakra Petch (© 2018 The Chakra Petch Project Authors) and IBM Plex Mono (© 2017 IBM Corp.) typefaces under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and a spacecraft mesh generated from primitives and released under CC0-1.0. All of them are served from this site rather than from a third party, and their license texts ship alongside them.
